Many customers ask about exact heat-up times and maximum temperatures. Here's why those numbers vary—and why they matter less than you might think.
Your sauna's ambient temperature and available power draw significantly impact both heat-up time and maximum temperature - factors outside our control. More importantly, focusing on "max temp" misses how infrared therapy actually works.
Get in when the sauna reaches 90-110°F and enjoy your session as it continues heating. This keeps the heaters running continuously, maximizing your infrared exposure. If you wait until it hits your target temp, the heaters will cycle on and off throughout your session, reducing therapeutic benefit.
Listen for a small "click" sound - this tells you when heaters are cycling on or off as they reach the set temperature. Don't touch heaters to check.
With traditional Finnish sauna research making headlines, it's natural to wonder how infrared compares. The short answer: they're different modalities with different benefits - not better or worse, just different.
Why people fixate on temperature: Recent Finnish research (using traditional heaters at 176-194°F) has driven massive interest in sauna therapy. Naturally, people assume they need those exact temperatures. But infrared heat is fundamentally different.
Infrared heat is more intense than traditional heat at the same temperature. It penetrates tissue more deeply, while traditional heat works primarily through hot air.
While the Finnish studies didn't use infrared, we believe - based on mechanistic understanding - that infrared at comparable dosages provides similar benefits. This is our professional opinion, not medical advice. Consult your doctor.

I bought a Heavenly Heat 2 person indoor infra red sauna and could not be happier. The assembly took 1 hour 20 minutes as advertised. If I ever needed to move the unit it would be so simple.
The delivery did take a bit longer than I planned on but so glad I waited and chose HH. The units may be a bit higher in cost but so is a Porsche or Ferrari which is the quality these HH saunas are. My two brothers are going to be purchasing units from HH after seeing and using ours. The support staff has been phenomenal, thank you to John and Michael! I’m a retired Master Diver USN with pain over my entire body after 10 musculature surgeries, I truly feel so much better from the moment I step into my unit that it’s hard to describe. I find 130 degrees for :20 to be optimal. We bought a two person because my wife likes to sauna as well and by both of us using it at the same time we save on electricity. I hope HH takes time to develop a wheel chair accessible unit for so many veterans restricted to those devices, I believe sauna would do wonders for them. What is the return policy?
We offer a 30-day in-home trial from delivery. If you’re not satisfied, you may request a return within 30 days, provided the sauna is in good condition and repackaged in its original materials. Return shipping costs apply, and all returns are inspected—refunds may be reduced or denied if items are damaged, incomplete, or improperly packaged. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection.

What is the warranty policy?
We provide a Limited Warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. Indoor saunas are covered for 10 years, outdoor saunas for 3 years, and certain components (like red light panels and accessories) for up to 5 years. If a defect is confirmed, we will repair or replace the affected parts at our discretion.
The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and does not cover labor, installation, misuse, improper installation, normal wear, or damage from environmental factors. Most issues can be resolved with technical support or replacement parts without returning the full sauna.
