Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) are harmful chemicals released by materials like glues, stains, and plastics. These chemicals can off-gas at high temperatures in traditional saunas, but we use only safe, tested materials to keep your sauna environment toxin-free.
Other saunas may use plywood or stains that release harmful VOCs. We avoid these materials, using only non-resinous woods like Hemlock and Poplar, which are hypoallergenic and safe.
