Red Light Saunas FAQs

Can a Red Light panel go in Sauna?

Red lights shouldn't be added to saunas (unless it is our specific red light sauna). Strong red lights with high irradiance need to have fans to cool themselves down. These panels can't sufficiently cool if they're iside a sauna. Our design allows the light to cool because the fans and ventilation is outside the sauna, but the actually light LED's are still directly effecting the user. We frame the panels in like a window.

What makes your Red Light Sauna special?

OurRed Light Infrared Sauna is our only full spectrum option... it has red light, NIR and FIR. Other companies say they offer full spectrum but from our research and testing (and industry experts' testing) we've found that they often times call it red light when it's just one bulb, or very low strength. This obviously doesn't get the desired benefits of red light therapy but rather, it's a marketing ploy.

We custom built our Red Light Infrared Sauna by designing the wall so that a full powered Red Light panel can fit in it.

How strong is the red light panel in the sauna?

It has a very high irradiance at 131 mw/cm2 at 18 inches. It features 5 wavelengths; 630nm, 660nm, 810nm, 830nm, and 850nm. Our proprietary mounting technique is why we are the only company in the world who can offer a strong Red Light in conjunction with a sauna. Strong red lights require ventilation and our mounting technique allows the Red Light to vent while still delivering the correct irradiance.

Do I need an electrician?

No, the Red Light Therapy Sauna plugs into Standard 15A 110/120V US Outlet

Do you offer any assistance with installation?

We do not offer assistance in assembly, but a certified handyman can. There are no special qualifications required for installation of an infrared sauna. You can always contact us for more information.
